Handling appointment conflicts

Turnless checks your calendar in real time before offering appointment slots, so double-bookings are rare. Here's how conflicts are handled when they do occur.

How conflicts are prevented

Before offering a time slot, the AI checks your connected calendar for existing appointments. It only offers times that are genuinely available based on your calendar and business hours.

If a conflict occurs

In the rare case that a conflict occurs (e.g. you manually book something at the same time), you'll see both appointments in your dashboard. You can contact the affected customer directly to reschedule.

Buffer time

You can set buffer time between appointments in your business settings. This prevents back-to-back bookings and gives you time to prepare between appointments.

Cancellations

If a caller cancels an appointment through the AI, the slot is freed up immediately and becomes available for new bookings.
