Going live: your pre-launch checklist

Before you start sending real calls to your AI receptionist, run through this checklist to make sure everything is set up correctly.

Business information

Confirm your business name, address, hours, and services are all accurate in Setup → Business Info. Call your Turnless number and ask a few questions to verify the AI answers correctly.

Calendar connection

If you want the AI to book appointments, make sure your calendar is connected and the AI can see your availability. Test by asking to book an appointment.

Phone forwarding

Set up call forwarding from your existing number to your Turnless number. Test by calling your business number from a mobile.

AI persona

Check your AI Settings to make sure the receptionist name, greeting, and tone match your brand. You can customise the opening greeting and the AI's personality.

SMS notifications

Confirm your mobile number is set up to receive booking confirmations and missed call alerts. Go to AI Settings → Messaging to check your notification preferences.
